Detroit Music Award winner for "Messin with a Fool" which received
"Outstanding Blues/R&B Recording (album)" and "Rock Songwriter!" In 2012
Eliza won "Outstanding Blues Songwriter" at the DMAs.

Eliza Neals produced a show at the "Cutting Room" in June, a benefit
for her songwriting partner and mentor, Motown legend Barrett Strong.
"We sang many of the Strong/Whitfield hits with a diverse range of
musicians and singers. Thank you to the generosity of the "Cutting Room"
we were able to give all of the money raised to help with Mr.Strong's
medical and living expenses" says Eliza.
Touring in 2013 at Miami Beach, Las Vegas, Nashville, Chicago,
Detroit and New York to name a few stops Eliza Neals is "in her own lane
with the pedal to the metal!" The award winning sultry and powerful
blues rock vocalist, recording artist, performer and producer is being
compared to greats like Etta James, Amy
Winehouse, Adele and Ricki Lee Jones among others. This is a night for

Currently in the studio with Super Detroit producer Martin "Tino" Gross
of the "Howling Diablos" and Motown Godfather Barrett Strong they are
creating a Bluesy-Motown-Rock-Soul-Fortress. The new album will be
released in the fall of 2011. Eliza's been co-writing with Barrett
Strong the Motown legend on “No Frogs for Snakes” and “liquorfoot” her
last albums, she has produced a sound that's unparalleled in female Rock
n Roll today.

P-Funk Eliza in her pre-teens began writing after meeting Bootsy Collins
in a Detroit Record store. Eliza’s musical ear, piano skills and god
given voice took her on a journey that gained her a degree in Opera from
Wayne State University in Detroit. Meanwhile, Detroit rock emerged as
her direction, being a young vibrant female vocalist, who felt the
calling to express herself through rock and blues. Locally, Eliza
strives to perform and write with the best Detroit had to offer. She
graced every venue with powerful vocals, charisma and a deep connection
with the audience.
Her pursuit of singing, touring and writing for a bigger audience
conceived “No Frogs for Snakes,” to sold out live shows. The Big Apple
