Lane Hardin - Little is known of this artist whose one coupling for Bluebird B-6242 Hard Time Blues/California Desert Blues was recorded in Chicago Sunday 28 July 1935 and is reissued on Document 5036. According to Henry Townsend, Lane Hardin was a "metalworker" probably inferring he worked in a steel mill. Townsend further states that Hardin was "from down South." Hardin was recorded after the war as "Leroy Simpson" (13 Highway) released on Kent 9004 "Blues From The Deep South."
