Lazy Jumpers are a fantastic live jump blues band from Spain,
although you'd never know it from the lead singer's accent. They are a
four-piece: guitar, drums, double bass and lead vocals / harmonica.
The music ranges from the lazy hazy "Something's Changed" to the very funky
and catchy "Dr. Dixon's Brew". Their songs leave room for the various band
mambers to demonstrate their expertise during instrumental passages. They
are skilled and keep the interest level up throughout. It's toe-tappin'
This is not the sort of music that I normally listen to, but I enjoy all the
tracks on the CD - they're all A-1 in my opinion.
My only criticism is that the recording is a little muffled compared to
their live performance. However, it's still worth having.
